My partner works with two “vegetarians” who are being especially bratty as of late. Now that the apprentice is also going meatless, they’re both pushing the whole “meat is terrible thing.” Which wouldn’t be a problem except that my partner is not an ass about his decision to eat meat and makes every effort to not heat it up in the shop and to eat it outside. Also, they only eat “good” meat which they define as from a very particular butcher that is, naturally, very expensive and shame him for eating grocery store meat.

So how do you deal with pushy “vegetarians” when one is your boss? Especially when one is really out there?*

*I have no idea how to describe her other than maybe unstable. And this comes from my constant, close contact with her and her family, not as a brush off of her behavior.**

**I also have issues with people shaming personal decisions when those shaming having a serious addiction to tobacco and are fat-shaming/have body image issues.
